about

This is our "ultra-raw / impro-jams" album - a selection of twelve unrehearsed, wholly improvised tracks recorded on the fly over the years in my studio (I even made up the lyrics as we went along...). We hope you'll find that this album's spontaneous, 'live feel' makes up for what these recordings might lack in acoustic polish and refinement.

Track Name: THE END OR NOT
Late at night
Sitting in the kitchen
Having a piece of bread
I thought I’d told you
I thought I’d already told you
The perception of life
The perception of life
It’s not what you might think it is
The perception of life
The perception of life
Hold my hand
Touch me softly
Coz I need some perception
Perception of life
I need some perception of life
You better shake it
You better shake it baby – ooh!
No you never know
No you never know
Never never never never know
Coz this might be the end, baby
But then again – it might not be
But you never know
Coz this might be the end, baby
But then again – it might not be
But you never know
Track Name: THE MOCKRACY
You’re asking for my opinion
You’re asking me how I choose
Then you’re telling me how to vote
Telling me how to choose
Go back two steps
And look deep into my eye
You can see the difference
Coz this is The Mockracy
This the Mockracy baby
I say – this is the Mockracy
This the Mockracy
The Mockracy
This the Mockracy
Track Name: IN THE PLACE
In the place where I was born
I used to see a little girl
Walking down the street
In the place where I was born
In the place where I was raised
I used to see a little man
walking down the street
They were holding hands
They were holding hands
So now the little girl and the little man
They used to smile to each other
Yes the little girl and the little man
They used to fondle each other
They stepped out on the motorbike
Going far away – far away – far away
They used to go far away
The little girl and the little man
I used to see a little man
Walking down the street with a little girl
Holding hands – yes, they were holding hands
So far away - They used to travel so far away
So far away – so far away – so far away
Track Name: DROP ME
If you take to the river
And drop me in the water
If you take to the river
And drop me in the water
Take me to the river
Take me to the river
Drop me in the water baby
I will show – I will show you
What it means to be alone
I f you give me the chance, baby
I… I… I… will show you
I will show you – I will show you
If you give me the chance, baby
Only if you give me the chance
The chance – the chance – the chance
I will show, show you, show you,
If you give me the chance
Just a chance
Track Name: SUITE BLUES
Suite blues
Please ! Please believe me
I said please -Please believe me, baby
It’s hard to make you understand
So hard - when you get down
When you get down on your knees
You make me cry – you make me cry
The things that might have been
Sweet sixteen - coz it breaks my heart
To tell you - the things inside my mind
The things inside my mind,
Sweet sixteen - for the things that might have been
The things of heart that are inside me
So hard to express – so hard – so hard
Oh baby won’t you tell me
Won’t you tell me, baby?
Track Name: GLORIES
Pieces of glory in my hands
I show them to the people
That understand
Some pieces of glory in my hands
I show them to the people
That will understand
Let me tell you – let me tell you
About my pieces of glory in my hands
I show them to the people that will understand
To the people, to the people – that will understand
To the people, people, people – that will understand
Understand – to the people that will understand
I got some people – some people
I got some people that will never believe
What I have, what I have in my hands
I’ve got some pieces of glory in my hands
I’ll only show it to my very best friends
My very best friends – my very best friends
I only show them to the people that will understand
My pieces of glory – my pieces of glory
I only show them to the people that will understand
And show’em to my very best friends
Very best friends – to my very best friends
Track Name: BROKEN SEALS
People of the world
Some of them will live
Some of them will die
Take my broken seals
Hold them against the light
People of the world
Some of them will live
Some of them will die
Take my broken seals
Hold them against the light
Yes, take my broken seals
Hold them against the light
Hold them! Hold them!
Against the light

Shake your booty

Track Name: NO TRUST
Sitting on the porch bench
I’m sitting on the porch bench baby
I wish I had the time to – explain
I wish I had the time – to explain
I wish had the time – to explain – the time to explain
Coz I see, that you really, really don’t trust me
You got no trust in me – no trust in me, baby
No – no trust in me, no trust in me
No trust no trust no trust no trust
You’ve got no trust in me, baby
No trust in me – in me – in me
Now I wish I had the time to explain
No trust in me – you’ve got no trust me

No trust in me, no trust in me

Little pieces of paper
Lying on the floor
Those little pieces of paper
Put them out the door

Put them out the door - put them out the door
Out of the door – out of the door, baby

Those little pieces of paper
Little pieces of paper
Track Name: 1975
Where were you , in 1975?
Where was I, in 1975?
I’m asking you – asking you
Where were you, in 1975?
Checking out the chicks – in the disco
Where was I, in 1975?
Checking out the chicks in the disco
Trying to understand which car to buy
A beautiful house – a beautiful wife
Where were you , in 1975?
Where was I, in 1975?
In 1975 – “nineteen-seventy-five”
Where were you, in 1975?
Where was I, in 1975?
Track Name: UNTRUE
Shut down the roar
If you want to see a truthful lifetime
Open the road, open the road
If you want to roam around
If you need to roam around
Shut down the road – the road
Hold it against your chest
Shut down the road – shut down the road
I’m calling you – I’m calling you
Calling you
Won’t you hear me, baby?
Won’t you hear me, I’m calling you
I need to talk to someone
I need to talk to you
And I’m calling you
I’m calling you, baby
I know it’s true
That the things we see - are untrue
The things you read in the newspaper
The things you see on television
The things you hear on radio
Calling you – I’m calling you
Calling! Calling! Calling you
Calling - Calling - Calling you
